The Great Leap

Two contemporary photographers Paul Batt (Australia) and Fernando Montiel Klint (Mexico) travelled and document China at a point of upheaval.

As this ancient culture has becomes an increasingly individualistic society, Montiel Klint and Batt photographed the movement of China, its people and its landscape, as it makes a tentative shift from communist to the capitalist system.
